Press Release Nov 01, 2021 KDDI Singapore changes its name to KDDI Asia Pacific ～Promoting further growth of APAC business by strengthening control functions in Southeast and South Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East～
KDDI Singapore will change its name to "KDDI Asia Pacific" on December 1, 2021.
This is subject to the resolution of the shareholders' meeting to amend the Articles of Association and the approval of the relevant authorities.
Change of trade name
1.Background and reason for change
For more than 30 years, KDDI Singapore has been helping companies set up their ICT infrastructure in Singapore.
In view of the recent trend of customers expanding their business beyond national borders, the company name will be changed to "KDDI Asia Pacific Pte Ltd" to express our determination and desire to contribute to the further development of our customers' business together with 13 offices* in 12 countries of the KDDI Group including Singapore.
As the KDDI Group's regional headquarters for Southeast and South Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East, KDDI Asia Pacific Pte Ltd will provide comprehensive solutions to customers operating in the region through further collaboration that takes advantage of the strengths of its offices in each country.
